Our team at Brothers Lawn Care recently completed a raised landscape bed project in West Salem, Wisconsin, designed to enhance the curb appeal of the home’s front entrance.
The homeowners wanted to add clean, defined landscape beds on both sides of their front entryway to create a more welcoming and polished look. To accomplish this, we installed Canyon Brown retaining wall block to form raised landscape beds that frame the front of the home.
To help stay within the client’s budget, we worked collaboratively on the project. The homeowners handled the removal of the existing landscaping, while we supplied and installed the retaining wall block. The block for this project was sourced from Menards, allowing us to keep material costs lower while still creating a durable finished product.
Once the walls were installed, we backfilled the beds with topsoil, giving the homeowners a clean space to plant the flowers and shrubs of their choice behind the new retaining walls.
The finished result provides a simple but impactful curb appeal upgrade, creating defined planting areas that highlight the home’s front entrance.
