Custom Paver Patio Installation in La Crescent, MN
Our team at Brothers Lawn Care recently completed a custom paver patio installation in La Crescent, Minnesota, transforming a backyard space into a clean and functional outdoor living area.
The patio design was based on a layout we previously built for one of our displays, but we modified the pattern and adjusted the size slightly to better fit the client’s backyard space.
For the patio surface, we installed County Materials Grand Discover pavers with a 4x8 paver border and a 4x8 inlay border, with Discover pavers laid through the center of the patio. The finished layout created a clean, structured design that pairs well with the surrounding yard.
To add visual interest and define the patio entrance, we also installed two pillars made from Tribute freestanding wall block on either side of the steps leading down to the patio.
Before installation began, we had to get creative with an existing downspout drainage issue in the area. Our team rerouted and buried the downspout line along the outside edge of the patio, properly sloping it toward the yard and connecting it to a popup drain to ensure water would be directed safely away from the patio surface.
Like all of our paver installations, the patio was built using our standard construction process to create a stable base and long-lasting outdoor space.
The finished project created a beautiful and durable backyard patio area perfect for relaxing and entertaining.
