Patio Improvements at Eckers Apple Farm in Trempealeau, WI
Our Story
Our team at Brothers Lawn Care recently completed a patio improvement project for the local favorite Eckers Apple Farm near Trempealeau, Wisconsin.
One part of the project involved repairing an existing flagstone patio that had begun to sink and settle due to erosion in the base underneath. We carefully removed the flagstone, installed a new 3/4” clean stone base, compacted and leveled the area, and then reset the original flagstone. Once the stone was placed back in position, we used polymeric locking sand to secure the joints and stabilize the patio surface.
In addition to the repair work, Eckers Apple Farm was expanding their property to include a new beer garden space for the community, and they needed a patio installed for guests to enjoy the area.
The owners sourced discount pavers from County Materials, and our team handled the full installation. We prepared the base using 3/4” washed stone that was properly compacted, installed 3/8” washed chips for the paver bedding, and then laid the pavers with polymeric locking sand between the joints to lock everything into place.
The finished patios created a stable, durable outdoor space for visitors to relax and enjoy the orchard’s new beer garden while also restoring the functionality of the existing flagstone patio.
